Easy to Install
If you’re installing wires in wet locations, including outdoor lighting and sprinkler lines, waterproof splice connectors are a great way to protect them from moisture. The splice connector has a pre-filled silicone seal that fully encapsulates all bare wires, closing all entryways against moisture and corrosion. It also features a double O-ring seal to keep water from creeping in and latches to lock the connector shut.

The heat shrink is then placed on top of the splice and heated with a heat gun until it forms around the cable and the splice. The low-temperature heat of the solder sleeve makes this a safe alternative to traditional welding. However, if you’re not comfortable using a heat gun or have limited experience with welding and soldering, it may be best to have a professional handle the splice.
