3D Geomat is a new high-polymer synthetic material used for soil fixing and grass planting. It is loose and flexible in texture, with 90% of its space left empty for filling soil, gravel and fine stone. It facilitates comfortable, balanced plant growth and combines soil and geomat to form a solid green composite protective layer.

Waterproof

The waterproof capability of Green 3D Geomat helps to protect bare soil surface against damage or pollution caused by raindrops, run off water or wind erosion. It prevents the top soil from being washed away while vegetation is getting established and enables the revegetation of the slope surface.

The three-dimensional high strength mat is made of polyamide or polypropylene raw materials. It is used for the protection of embankments, slopes, reservoirs, rivers-river banks and channels. Its unique structure allows plants to quickly anchor roots into the mat. The mat has a good self-healing property for small damages.

A biodegradable version of the product is also available. This variant is sewn on a biodegradable backing. During installation, make sure that its three-dimensional open structure faces down and the biodegradable backing upwards. Geotextile fabric or geomembranes can be bound to one or two sides of the mat for embankment drainage, or for use on rocky, steep or sloping surfaces to prevent soil slippage. Hexagonal wire mesh reinforced versions of the mat are available to ensure that plants hold tightly and stabilize the soil.

The plant-friendly geomat is ideal at, below and above the water level and can be placed on dry slopes like the bottom of channel, river lake or spillways. It easily accepts hydroseeding and shrub planting where more rapid colonization is required. It can replace concrete, asphalt, stone and other slope materials, mainly for road, railway, river, dam and other slope surface protection.
